My French Medieval 2 Campaign

Post by Cezar on Sun Sep 28, 2014 5:04 am

From the beginning of my campaign I decided first to fight with factions and only then capture rebel settlements. Though, when the game started I could not withstand capturing some delicious towns and castles owned by –∑retenders and brigands. Thus, I started sieging them.

+4 settlements since the beginning.

Scouting Lombardia.

Sicilians knocking on the door. This was a big surprise for me, so I reloaded here and built a navy to defeat them in sea, because otherwise they capture Marseilles without any chance for me.

Attacking English. I needed their, I mean mine, castle on the North very much. Capturing that castle allowed me to recruit knights north of Paris, since Toulouse and Bordeaux were very far.

Sieging Bern and trying to find shelter under Neapolitan roofs.

Naples is mine. Also I captured Corsica and Sardinia with another army, while I was on my way to Palermo. This castle usually the first to become second level castle under the AI management.

Milan attacked me at Sardinia. Do not know why, but many factions attacked me there.

Captured Saragossa after Spanish failed to do so.

Danish landing party

Again at war with England.

More of new "friends".

Rome is unprotected, while Pope is examining Latin beaches.

Cleaning up La Manche

Finally after all fish in La Manche started to speak in English I could land my troops near London.

Portugues conquest of Wales.

Florence is mine.

London captured.

Declared war on Portugal and conquered Navara.

Expansion inside of Italy.

My enemy Venice

Byzantium came to offer "friendship".

Destroying Spain in one turn. When I finished both sieges they vere left without rulers and the faction died.

New French lands are in danger.

Nottingham and Frankfurt are under siege.

England conquered.

My merchants

Situation on the eastern front.

Situation on the southern front.

Krakow is under siege.

Venetians are trying in vain to stop my advance.

Danish capital is captured, as well as, their main army, that will be blocked on Zeeland by my ships.

Moors bringing their armies from North Africa.

Siege of Croatia and Austria.

Croatia and Austria conquered

Last Danish settlement

Scotland brought to its limit.

Algiers is going to fall.

Ragusa is mine. Next is Greek village to the south.

Budapest is annexed.

Danish rebels.

Striving to destroy Poland.

French invasion of North Africa with two armies. The first one armed with swords, spears, and crossbows, while the second army is armed with Bible.

Algiers is under siege.

Pope does not want to return to Rome. He preferes outdoors to closed chapels and cathedrals.

Finances. I am as reach as Bill Gates.

Everyone in my state is happy.

Two new settlements.

Forgot to tell that I am excomunicated since conquest of Palermo.

Two bishops left. After I kill Pope and conquer Hungary, my bishop will become Pope.

Family tree. Many brave knights died for French cause.

General statistic.

Priests are coming to convert infidels.

Silk monopoly is in hands of my merchants.

Kievan Rus` is next on my way.

Finished my campaign, but do not have screenshots, cause I deleted disc version of Med. 2 where I started the campaign.
In the end I conquered all Russian lands; all Anatolia except for Trebizond; Antiohia; one castle to the north of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem itself. At this point I got a message that I completed the campaign, I pressed ESC and it threw me to the menu. I was very borred playing last turns, so I desided to not continue untill conquering every settlement, because I did not want to assault Jerusalem again, cause I conquered it on the turn.
